[Edit] Should gays have equal rights as other citizens? |
|
Should the new law in the state of California giving gays the right to marry be disputed? [Edit] Background and context:In many countries, gays do not have the same rights as other individuals. Many argue that this is justified, based largely on the idea that homosexuality is immoral. Yet, many others judge that homosexuals, or any other individuals in the LGBT community, should receive equal rights. Is official, legal recognition of equal gay rights justified? Should the high courts of countries recognize such a right? |
