Debate: Mandatory delay period for women seeking abortions
From Debatepedia
[Edit] Should a delay period for women seeking abortions be mandatory? |
[Edit] Background and contextIn the debate surrounding abortion, many believe that women often make hasty decisions to get abortions, and that if they were given a little more time to think things through that they might appreciate it at a later time and life. Opponents of abortion generally advocate for this idea, and while some pro-choice groups do support such mandatory delays, others argue that it violated the privacy of a women and her right to make up her own mind on her own time. |
