[Edit] NoClick on the pencil icon and research and write arguments here It is justified for the goverment to enforce marriage. 1. If it wasn't enforced then polgamy will occur and the household will always clash and conflict, thus leading deaths. 2. The goverment ought to recognize marriage because the goverment is suppose to protect all rights under the constiution by not recognizing marriage the goverment is basically failing to do its job.
